The most popular province of Canada, Ontario is about to open the registration window under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream on 21st October.
To apply under this stream, candidates would require to have a current job offer along with the latest Employer form.
Ontario expects that a great number of users will register for the Foreign Worker Stream. So, a user might be assigned to the priority queue while accessing the portal.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program has said in a media release that users may get a high-volume message page. They do not need to contact the program for this purpose as it is not a technical glitch.
You can register directly through the Ontario government’s webpage of the Employer Job Offer – Foreign Worker Stream. There is an option of ‘Submit an application’ on the webpage, you need to click on that button and enter your application. Also, ensure that use a desktop, as the e-filing system does not support tablets and mobile phones.
Further, you must be extremely careful while entering your Date of Birth. DD/MM/YYYY is the accurate formate of filling date of birth in the e-Filing portal. You can not make a mistake with the date of birth format as the Ontario Program will not let you edit it.
Please note: This registration window is open only for candidates applying through the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream. Applications for the International Student and Masters Graduate streams will not be accepted.
The candidate must have a job offer with a proper start date. Also, he or she must submit all the supporting documents that are required under the Employer Job Offer category.
Applicants have to provide the latest version of the Employer Form. Although it is listed that the Employer Form must be submitted within a period of 6 months from the signing date, the information that you fill in the form must be the most recent one.
If your Employer Form is dated before 21/10/2020, your application will be termed as incomplete and it won’t be accepted.
If your registration is successfully accepted, you will get 14 days to submit the complete application. During this time, you can upload your up-to-date Employer Form. You have to ensure that you submit your complete application within 14 days as the province will not extend this period.
The “Regulatory Compliance Information” in section B of the OINP’s Employer Form has been revised by the program. This information is used to verify whether the business of the employer is listed under the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and the 2000 Employment Standards Act.
To avoid delays in processing applications, employers must review all the responses in the application accurately.
If a user is facing technical difficulties while submitting an application to the e-filing portal, he or she can contact [email protected]. It is suggested to attach a screenshot with the date and time stamp and provide all the relevant details about the technical error.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program will launch the Expression of Interest System in 2021 for applicants in Foreign Worker Stream.
