Many immigrants want to settle in the province of Quebec in Canada. They eagerly wait for the Arrima draw. On March 30, Quebec has invited 208 prospective candidates by conducting a new Arrima Draw.
Quebec’s Immigration Ministry has invited immigration candidates through the Regular Skilled Worker Program. Also, only those candidates received invitations who had created an Expression of Interest profile in Quebec’s Arrima portal.
Quebec has not disclosed the total number of invitations that were issued to each group of candidates.
Arrima is an online portal that manages immigration applications for the province of Quebec. When a candidate submits his or her profile in the Arrima, it is then assessed by the MIFI. If candidates meet labor market needs and required eligibility criteria, the province issues invitations to them.
The immigration ministry of Quebec selects candidates for permanent residence in the province on the basis of the points they score in the Values test. In addition, labor market requirement is another crucial factor for selecting candidates for the CSQ.
Canada has set the target of increasing immigration levels over the coming years in order to maintain economic growth post coronavirus. The province of Quebec also announced to welcome around 47,500 new immigrants under its immigration programs.
