The 147th Express Entry Draw held on May 14, 2020, has invited a total of 529 Express Entry candidates with a nomination from a Canadian province.
The provincial nominee candidates required a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 718 and above to secure an Invitation to Apply for Canada PR. With this express entry draw, a total of 34,829 candidates have been invited by Canada through Express Entry this year.

Invited candidates already had an additional score of 600 points, owing to the provincial nomination that they had secured. This means that they required only 118 points more in the Comprehensive Ranking System in order to receive an invitation.
The tie-break rule was used by IRCC in this Express Entry Draw. The date and the time for tie-break were March 19, 2020, at 12:53:21 UTC. So, only those PNP candidates received invitations who have submitted their express entry profile before this date and time and who have a CRS score of 718 or higher.
The frequency of the Express Entry Draws has become unpredictable since the implementation of the special coronavirus measures.
Earlier, the draws used to take place every 15 days. Now, only program-specific express entry draws are held by the IRCC with no established schedule.
However, the year 2020 is doing an admirable job by issuing a large number of ITAs despite the terrible chaos created by the pandemic.
