  • You can also add your Express Entry Profile ID during EOI submission. 
  • With the help of the Express Entry profile, eligible candidates are instantly invited for provincial nomination by the PEI PNP.
  • Your Express Entry score will get additional 600 points.
  • If you are living and working in PEI, you are on the priority list for permanent residence

Critical Worker Stream

Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program
If you wish to immigrate to the province of Prince Edward Island and get a permanent residency as well as citizenship of Canada.

Through this stream, you can gain Canadian permanent residency but you must be working in PEI. The PEI Critical Worker stream is helping employers from Prince Edward Island to fill labour gaps that cannot be filled by Canadian residents. 

Eligibility criteria

  • You require a full-time job for a minimum of two years with an employer from PEI for a position, defined by NOC skill level C or D.
  • You also require full time job experience of a minimum of six months with a PEI employer.
  • You must have a legal status and valid work permit while living in Canada.
  • You require a secondary school diploma.
  • The age bracket is (18 – 59).
  • You also require job experience on full time basis for at least two years. 
  • You must qualify for the language test from an IRCC-approved testing institute, you need a score of Canadian Language Benchmark 4. 
  • You must have sufficient funds required to take care of all immigration expenses including travel expenses for you and your family members. 
  • Most of all you must have an intention to settle in Canada in PEI.

Skilled Worker Stream

Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program
If you wish to immigrate to the province of Prince Edward Island and get a permanent residency as well as citizenship of Canada.

If you want to apply for permanent resident status in Canada then you can apply through this stream of Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program. This stream is helping employers from Prince Edward Island to fill labour gaps that cannot be filled by Canadian residents.

Eligibility criteria

  • You have to acquire a full-time job for a minimum of two years with an employer from PEI in a position defined by the National Occupational Classification skill level 0, A or B.
  • You will need a Canadian work visa that has not expired.
  • You must have 2 years worth full‐time job experience. 
  • You must have a post‐secondary degree or diploma
  • You must hold on to Canadian languages like English or French, language proficiency to perform the job duties.
  • You must have sufficient funds to pay for your Canada immigration expenses including travel expenses for you and your dependents.
  • The age bracket is (18 – 59).
  • Your language test must be taken under an IRCC authorized testing organisation. It must be valid at the time of application submission with a minimum score of CLB 4
  • You must have the desire to settle in PEI.

Skilled Worker Outside Canada

This stream is for migrating skilled workers from outside of Canada. The employer recruiting must have authorization from the Office of Immigration before they issue any occupational opportunities. 

Eligibility criteria

  • You have to acquire a full-time job for a minimum of two years with an employer from PEI in a position defined by the National Occupational Classification skill level 0, A or B.
  • You are required to have 2 years of full‐time job experience. 
  • You will need a Canadian work visa that has not expired.
  • You should have a post‐secondary degree.
  • The age bracket is (18 – 59).
  • You should have a hold on languages like English or French to work the job.
  • Your language test must be taken under an IRCC authorized testing organisation. It must be valid at the time of application submission with a minimum score of CLB 4
  • You must have sufficient financial resources required to pay all your Canada immigration expenses including travel expenses for you and your dependents.
  • You also require the desire to settle in PEI.

Atlantic Immigration Pilot

This program is employer-driven. It is an immigration pilot program that will help you to apply for Canadian residency to fill the labour skill gaps. It supports foreign nationals and newcomers and provides them an opportunity to gain Canadian permanent residency. It has three different programs under it which are based on different needs required.

  • Atlantic High Skilled Program: This program is designed to choose the cream of skilled candidates means the people who are very skillful in their domain.
  • Atlantic Intermediate Skilled Program: This one will target only the partially skilled candidates.
  • Atlantic International Graduate Program: This one is designed to select those who have graduated from post-secondary educational institutions of Atlantic Canada.

Eligibility criteria

  • To qualify, you have to gain a designated employer status.
  • You must have a good understanding of provincial and federal standards and legislation according to the program guidelines.
  • You must be prepared for the settlement needs of international candidates.
  • You also require an understanding of and agree to the necessary conditions for this program.

First of all, you must read the guidelines mentioned in the application form then you have to complete it and mention your employer designation in it.

International Graduate stream

This stream is another way to apply for the program. If you are an international student and have completed your graduation degree from any PEI post-secondary educational institution, this stream can help you.

Eligibility criteria

  • You must have done a post-secondary study and received a degree or diploma from a Prince Edward Island institution.
  • You require a minimum two years of job experience under a PEI employer.
  • You must acquire a post-graduate work permit and you should also be a legal resident in Canada.
  • The age bracket is (18 – 59).
  • You also require enough hold on languages like English or French language skills to perform the job duties.
  • You must have sufficient financial sources to bear the expenses of migrating to Canada and settling.
  • You also require the desire to settle in PEI.

Apart from Prince Edward Island, the other provinces such as British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, New Brunswick, Alberta, Northwest Territories, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Ontario, all have their own provincial nominee programs.
