The Express Entry System is a simple process used by the Canadian government for the selection of skilled workers. It has a hassle-free application process.
Applicants with profiles in the express entry pool are selected on the basis of a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. The CRS score is assessed by a number of factors such as age, educational qualification, work experience, and language ability. Also, an additional 600 points are awarded to those Express Entry candidates who are nominated by a province. This effectively increases their chances of securing a permanent residency.
Express Entry candidates must possess a valid Express Entry ID, job seeker validation code, and genuine work experience in order to apply for provincial nomination.
Skilled Worker in Manitoba: It is one of the three streams of the Manitoba PNP that provides permanent residence to foreign workers and international graduates.
This immigration stream is for those candidates who already have a full-time job offer in Manitoba. Through this stream, Manitoba invites foreign workers with a decent skill set to apply for Manitoba provincial nomination.
In the latest draw, 168 candidates were invited with a score of 475 points in Manitoba’s Expression of Interest system.
Skilled Worker Overseas: Employers in Manitoba holds a Strategic Recruitment Initiative through which 9 candidates were issued direct invitations. The minimum points required by candidates for this category are 824 points.
International Education Stream provides a platform to graduates from the Manitoba province to apply for nomination. The province has invited 35 international graduates in the latest MPNP draw.
A total of 3,511 candidates have been already invited by Manitoba this year.
