Express Entry 163rd Draw
A total of 4,200 candidates from all programs – Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades, and Federal Skilled Worker were issued invitations in this draw. The same number of invitations were issued in the September 2 draw as well. The highlight of this express entry draw is the requirement of the lowest CRS score. The cut-off Comprehensive Ranking System score was fixed at 472. This score was three points down as compared to the score of the previous express entry draw. CRS score depends on a number of factors such as age, education, work experience, Canadian certificate of education, and language proficiency. In addition to this, a job offer from a Canadian employer is not a mandatory requirement in the Express Entry process. However, it does give an advantage of extra points to the candidate.Tie-break Rule
The IRCC has issued invitations to only those candidates who have entered the express entry pool on or before March 9, 2020, at 13:03:40 UTC. The tie-break date and time are always used in each express entry round of invitation to rank candidates with the same CRS score.Express Entry: Best Immigration Program For Skilled Workers
