Canada held another all-program Express Entry draw, CRS score drops

Canada has conducted its much-awaited express entry draw on August 5 inviting candidates from all programs – Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades, Canadian Experience Class, and Provincial Nominee Program. No. of Invitations issued: 3,900 Minimum CRS score required: 476 Held on: August 5, 2020 Tie-break date and time: July, 27, at 01:02:47 UTC Much like the previous all-program draw, this express entry draw also issued a total of 3900 invitations to apply for Canada PR. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score required in order to receive an ITA was 476 in this invitation round. This score dropped by 2 points from the cut-off score of the previous all-program draw held on July 8. This was the 25th Express Entry Draw of 2020 and with this draw, the number of invitations issued by the IRCC this year has reached to 61,600. The tie-break date and time applied by the IRCC are July, 27, at 01:02:47 UTC. So, candidates who had a CRS score of 476 and higher and had submitted their profiles before the tie-break date and time received ITAs in this draw.

How the CRS score is calculated?

When you submit your express entry profile, you are given a Comprehensive Ranking System score, which is eventually the determining factor for securing an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. CRS score is dependent on the following factors:

Application Process for the Canada Express Entry

To apply for the express entry immigration system, an interested candidate must fulfill all the requirements to be eligible for this Canadian Immigration System.
