Latest Draw: 237 Invitations Issued
British Columbia has been conducting several draws now. Lately, on May 7, 2020, the province has invited 237 candidates to apply for a British Columbia provincial nomination. The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program has issued invitations under its two popular immigration streams:
Following table shows the latest draw results with the provincial score requirements for each subcategory:
|Stream||Minimum Score Required|
|EEBC Skilled worker||108|
|EEBC International Graduate||106|
|SI Skilled Worker||102|
|SI International Graduate||106|
|SI Entry-level & Semi-skilled||83|
The Express Entry stream of British Columbia is linked with the federal Express Entry system. Interested candidates can apply to the British Columbia PNP under the following sub-categories of the Express Entry BC:
Please note: Candidates who apply through the Express Entry BC stream must qualify for one of the three express entry economy class programs: Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker, or Federal Skilled Trades.
Skills Immigration is not linked with the federal express entry system. Skilled workers, International Graduates, and Post-graduates can apply through this stream directly under the BC Provincial Nominee Program.
If you want to move to British Columbia, you can apply for permanent residence through the BC PNP. First, register yourself under the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) of BC PNP. Then, create your profile through the online portal in either of the categories – Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC.
Candidates who apply through the Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC are given points based on human capital as well as economic factors. And the highest-scoring candidates are selected by the province to apply for a provincial nomination.
The provincial nominee programs offer the best route to Canadian permanent residence for candidates with low CRS scores. Therefore, candidates should not miss any opportunity for a provincial nomination.
