The province of British Columbia has conducted another draw and invited over 300 immigration candidates. The invited candidates can now submit their complete application for a provincial nomination.
Candidates received the invitations under the Skills Immigration and Express Entry British Columbia streams of the BC Provincial Nominee Program.
The minimum provincial score required was different for each subcategory of the Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC streams.
The minimum required provincial score has gone down in this draw. For each subcategory, the score required has remained below 100. So, candidates with a low score got an opportunity to be invited by British Columbia in this latest draw.
The Express Entry stream of British Columbia is linked with the federal Express Entry. Interested candidates can apply to the British Columbia PNP under the following sub-categories of the Express Entry BC:
Skilled workers, International Graduates, and Post-graduates can apply through this stream directly under the BC Provincial Nominee Program.
Candidates required a permanent job offer to apply through both the above-mentioned immigration streams of the BC PNP.
Also, the province has not considered some occupations in this draw due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses in British Columbia.
