Alberta has recently invited 200 express entry candidates through its Provincial Nominee Program. The Alberta Immigrant Nominee program conducted the draw on April 29, 2020. The province has already issued around 1,407 invitations particularly to express entry candidates this year.
The Comprehensive Ranking System Score required was 322 points only. Considering that the AINP draw invited express entry candidates, this score was significantly low.
Invitees can now submit a complete application for a provincial nomination and if they successfully receive a nomination from Alberta, they will get 600 additional points added to their CRS score. This would make them an assured ITA in the next Express Entry Round of Invitation.
The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is dedicated to the western province of Canada, Alberta. It allows the province to issue an Alberta provincial nomination certificate to prospective candidates who meet the skills and work experience required by the province’s labor market.
