3,400 Candidates Invited In The Latest Express Entry Draw, CRS Score Reduced

If you couldn’t secure an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in the first Express Entry draw of 2020, you need not be disappointed. The latest Express Entry draw, held on 22nd January, has invited another 3,400 express entry candidates to apply for permanent residency. The previous draw that was held in the first week of January had the minimum required CRS score of 473. In the latest draw, the score has gone down by 2 points. This means that candidates needed at least 471 points to obtain an invitation from the IRCC. Tie-break date and time: In this draw, the government has set the tie-break date and time as May 9, 2019, at 01:16:02 UTC. Only those candidates have received an invitation to apply for permanent residence who have submitted their profiles before the tie-break date and time.
